Isn’t it annoying when parents try to mooch your Christmas present? Well, Kaavia Wade made sure to curb her mom’s enthusiasm sternly in that regard. Dwyane Wade and his wife, Gabrielle Union, made their youngest kid’s Christmas extra special with a few added memories. But when the Hollywood star was enjoying her present – you know, the one Union and Wade got her – Kaavia dictated the terms of sharing.

A Reel on Kaavia’s personal Instagram was captioned, “The best gifts are the ones you can’t unwrap.” She rolled out cookie dough with her dad while dressed in her Christmas finery. While her cookies were being baked, her parents escorted her outside the house to her present. As the caption hinted, her present was a large trampoline that couldn’t fit in a gift box.

Kaavia was so excited about the gift that she tried it out right away. She was joined by her mom and her aunt. But the double-bounce of the adults was too much for the 5-year-old. As she crawled out of the mayhem, she said with a grudge, “You’re not supposed to jump too hard.”

Gabrielle Union, who’s done a fair bit of flying as a cheerleader on Bring It On, was surprised at being schooled by her daughter. But the lesson was not fully learned. Kaavia still couldn’t keep up with two adults invading her new “jumpy.”

She had her sweet moments too. Dwyane is a rather good sous chef helping her make the cookie balls and she personally made sure the oven is doing a good job baking the Christmas dessert. D-Wade also personally delivered Kaavia to her new trampoline. Take note, Gab.

Dwyane Wade’s Christmas shenanigans

The Wade fam can make the Vanity Fair Oscars event look dull with their parties. From Kaavia and her grandmother’s joint birthday princess celebration to Thanksgiving together, they pack it with fun. For Christmas, they enjoyed tournaments of giant Connect 4 and Jenga.

Wade shared glimpses of the Wade Christmas Game Day, including Kaavia battling a couple of relatives in Jenga. As for The Flash, he was designated to watch from his high chair and keep score on a yellow legal notepad as the judge.

No holiday in this fam is complete without Kaavia leading the meal in prayer. She topped her Thanksgiving recital with another Bible verse reading on Christmas. Completing the celebrations was a viewing of the best Christmas movie ever, Home Alone. What we wouldn’t give for an invite to one of the Wade fam parties.
