An NBA veteran takes it all out on Draymond Green. The Golden State Warriors player is once again in the spotlight. During the Warriors’ 101-93 victory over the Orlando Magic, Green was ejected in the first half for yelling at the officials for which he was given a technical foul. This incident after his indefinite suspension once put pressure on his teammate Stephen Curry which was evident in the game. He was also seen getting involved in a slight physical altercation with Patty Mills. In the latest episode of Road Trippin, Richard Jefferson weighed in on his game.

Speaking of Green’s frustration in the first four minutes of the game, Jefferson said, You’re f*****g that mad, you’re that mad four minutes into a game four minutes into a game you’re that mad you’re like that to me is again we’ve always said like not always but we’ve said there’s something different it’s not this isn’t competitiveness this isn’t basketball.”

Pointing out the incident with the officials, Jefferson criticized Green and said, “It’s like ‘you are not entitled in my opinion to’ oh that’s a foul and I’m just going to argue for 10 minutes that was a foul like I don’t care if you’ve won four championships I don’t care if you’re a defensive player of the year I don’t care about that there are 10 grown men on that court you are not the one person that gets to do that right.”

Stephen Curry’s emotional breakdown

Luckily, after the review of the matchup with the Miami Heat, Green was saved from suspension. During the game, the 4x champ was seen pulling down Miami Heat guard Mills. However, officials decided to call it a common foul. Just two days before the game, Head Coach Steve Kerr also noted how much improvement Green had shown after his suspension. During the post-game conference, Kerr said, “I’m so proud of Draymond for the way he’s come through the suspension.”

However, once again something similar happened during the game against the Orlando Magic and this time, the tension was evident on Curry’s face. He was upset about Green’s ejection and almost close to tearing up. After clinching the win with his three-pointer, he was seen kicking a chair in frustration. In an interview with Anthony Slater of The Athletic, Curry noted, “All I’ll say is we need him. He knows that. We all know that. So whatever it takes for him to be on the floor and available, that’s what’s gotta happen.” And for that, Green has to maintain consistency to support the Warriors. What are your thoughts on this?
