Both the Boston Celtics legends have touched on some of the best stories from the past and the current happenings of the NBA world in their joint podcast. During the latest episode, along with the duo, Tony Allen was also present. The trio began discussing what a biopic on their lives would look like and of course, the question arose of which personality would be the best to play their character.

Paul Pierce had an intriguing choice as he listed Will Smith or Denzel Washington who could play his character. For the Big Ticket, Pierce teased his teammate and said that 7’3 NBA player Bol Bol might be the only one to fit the look. The Truth quipped, “Who’s gonna play Ticket though? Bol Bol or something.”

Well, that didn’t go well with Kevin Garnett and he decided to roast his former teammate back. KG added, “Your early years, you had curls, don’t forget that. You thought you was in NWA, I remember your a** used to look like Ice Cube,” comparing Pierce to legendary rapper O’shea Jackson. Here is the clip of the duo arguing over their casting assignments.

When not on the show, the duo continues to engage in entertaining banter online. Their comradery has carried over from the locker room well into retirement. In fact, just a few months back, Garnett shared a 20-year-old story of his NBA best friend’s embarrassing moment.

Almost 20 years back in time, the Truth had the chance to play against the Indiana Pacers and the competitive defender Metta Sandiford-Artest.

While dominating the game, Pierce hilariously became the victim of Artest’s mischief. In a resurfaced clip from that game, Pierce could be seen overpowering the Pacers and Artest. However, when Artest could no longer bring the game under his control, he tried to play a mind game on his opponent.

As seen in the clip, Artest tried to pull down Pierce’s shorts. Nevertheless, the Truth was unfazed by his action and continued to dominate. Despite the distraction, he ran across the court to successfully drop a three-pointer. Garnett shared the clip on his Instagram story as well.
