Charles Barkley has revealed that he does not intend to see out the full term of his TNT contract. What could be his reason for the future renege? Family. And this right after a year post signing a whopping 10-year, $200 million extension with the network. However, LaVar Ball recently attacked Chuck’s domestic image. According to the notorious NBA personality, his “favorite player growing up” burnt all bridges with him.

Charles Barkley was quick to take exception to his nature and quick to call him out.

According to Chuck, LaVar was exploiting his children for money. Further, he even lay down the challenge for a 1v1 after Ball’s claim about beating MJ. Addressing the same, LaVar wasn’t shy in calling out the Phoenix Suns legend during his interview with VladTv. Firstly, he made clear how much of a fan he truly was.

“He used to be my favorite player growing up, till he started talking foolish.” Ball was quick to bring up the previous comments that Barkley had made about him. Then, the 55-year-old took it to another level. “On TNT, you talking about your dogs…You ain’t no family guy…You was a drunk back in the day and a gambler.” Further, the always-outspoken LaVar revealed a shocking incident involving Barkley.

“When I was with the Lakers…He tried to come and shake my hand. And I look through him like glass…I wouldn’t shake his hand. I walk right by him like, ‘No, man…On the camera, you going to talk crazy but behind the camera, we supposed to be buddies. I’ll never connect with Charles Barkley,” said LaVar Ball.

Since 2017, the name LaVar Ball is one that has always been around in NBA circles. However, over the years, the NBA world has made its peace with LaVar’s exorbitant tendencies.
