Another day, and another instance of Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan not finding any favor. The controversial couple is still going strong, but they are subject to all kinds of unfair scrutiny. The latest opinion is coming from a rapper who wants to gatekeep Michael Jordan’s legacy, which he thinks Jordan’s son has ruined with his choice of romantic partner. MJ is obviously a cultural icon, but he dictates nothing about Marcus’s relationships. However, that doesn’t stop certain people from jumping into the fray.

43-year-old rapper Slim Thug is not dropping a diss track or making implied critiques about the couple. He called out the son and ex-wife of two Chicago Bulls legends outright.

Rapper disparages Michael Jordan’s son

Houston-based rapper, Slim Thug, has made no secret about his admiration for Michael Jordan, and he’s staying on theme on the People Still Talking podcast. But this time he’s going after people he thinks are hurting MJ’s legacy – Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan.

Their history is common knowledge now. MJ’s son, Marcus, is dating Larsa, MJ’s former teammate Scottie Pippen’s ex-wife. Things have not been good between Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen since the release of the documentary, “The Last Dance”, in 2020. Larsa recently won a legal battle that entitles her to 50 percent of Scottie Pippen’s retirement package, including his Chicago Bulls 401k savings in the divorce. Just when it seemed people were starting to accept this couple, the marriage rumors between Larsa and Marcus started and the Black Cat’s fans apparently didn’t accept Larsa.

Slim Thug is one of them. He directed his rant at Marcus while saying, “you f*****g up your daddy’s legacy,” by considering marriage to Larsa.

Elsewhere in his rant, he says, “Don’t ruin your legacy by holding hands with this broad.” He says a lot more unsavory things about Larsa and her past marriage with Scottie.

Larsa was spotted with a “promise ring” on her left hand, sparking engagement rumors. Marcus would repeatedly say that their marriage plans are “in the works“, and has also said that he wants his dad to be his best man. There’s nothing concrete yet, but it’s already sparked unjust trolling towards them from different sides, be it rappers, sportscasters, or fans.

Slim Thug is one of many others in his criticism of Marcus and Larsa. Shannon Sharpe and Chad Johnson have not been kind about their commentary on Larsa at all. The duo recently hinted that Larsa is only with Michael Jordan’s son to get back at her ex, Scottie Pippen.

Where these media veterans are not on board the LarCus ship, their ESPN colleague has gone back and forth. Stephen A. Smith was initially critical of Larsa too. Recently, he changed his tune. He stated that Marcus is a “grown adult” – a direct quote from His Airness – who doesn’t need Michael’s or anyone’s permission to determine his relationships.

This couple has been thick-skinned to all the trolling and trash-talking. Even if Slim Thug is not on board this unconfirmed wedding, it will not stop it from happening. After all, these are two “grown adults” and they are answerable to no one about their romance.
