Magic Johnson was officially declared a billionaire in 2023. To celebrate this, along with his 64th birthday, Johnson and his friends took a 49-day luxury holiday trip, which reportedly cost him 7.5 million dollars. But this is not the first time Magic has spent an extravagant amount of money on himself.

The Los Angeles Lakers legend is one of the 237 people in the world who own the limited edition Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe, which is said to have cost him $500,000.

The drophead coupe has a 6.7L V12 engine that generates 453 horsepower and can get to a top speed of 148 MPH while weighing close to 3 tons, according to VIPFortunes. It debuted in 2007 at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Michigan. The eight-speed automatic transmission can take the car from 0 to 60 mph in 5.5 seconds.

The car fits Magic Johnson. It is extremely different from something that we are used to seeing from Rolls-Royce. This is similar to how Magic was a unique and different point guard when he made it to the NBA. This is the most expensive car owned by Magic. Along with this, Magic has another drophead car which is the Bentley Continental V8 which is sure to have set him back over $200,000.

However, if fans are lucky, they can see the 5x champion going on a ride in it on a sunny day in LA. Although $500,000 for a car is mind-blowing, this is nothing significant to the new billionaire who recently splurged 1.25 million dollars per week for a holiday vacation with his family and friends.

The yacht came with swimming pools, jacuzzis, a fitness room and wellness center, movie theaters, a bar, and even a hair salon for the guests to enjoy, along with a 29-member crew. The 64-year-old Magic Johnson certainly deserves to spend his money to his liking after spending years building up his businesses.
