Shaquille O’Neal can’t seem to get enough of making fun of his friend Charles Barkley. Both Barkley and Shaq have been a hilarious duo on the sets of Inside the NBA for years now and fans love their camaraderie. Yet there has always been a difference in opinions, especially when it comes to Kevin Durant. The Phoenix Suns star’s stint with the Golden State Warriors was time and again criticized by Barkley. Remember the ‘Bus driver’ analogy? Well, Shaq decided to call out Barkley for his polarizing take on super teams.?
Barkley also criticized KD for joining the Brooklyn Nets, which was another super team. But did Barkley ever play for a super team? Shaq certainly seems to think so.

Even though KD won two championships and two Finals MVPs with the Warriors, Barkley believes he was not the leader of the team. Nonetheless, many believe Kevin Durant was an unstoppable force and was one of the main reasons why the Warriors won rings back-to-back.?
There was yet again a controversy when Durant teamed up with Kyrie Irving and James Harden for the Brooklyn Nets. 1993 MVP Barkley made it clear,?“I’m not a fan of super teams.”?Well, that was not the case in 1998.
Houston Rockets were feared during that season as Chicago Bulls icon Scottie Pippen joined forces with Barkley and ‘The Dream’ Hakeem Olajuwon. Shaquille O’Neal decided to use this to call out Barkley’s hypocrisy but in a hilarious way.?

Unlike Kevin Durant’s run with the Warriors, Barkley’s run with Houston was a failure. There was no doubt about the talent Barkley, Pippen, and Olajuwon had. Sadly, their age was a huge barrier. Pippen was 33, while both Barkley and ‘The Dream’ were 34+.?
However, the motive of the Houston Rockets was to create a big 3, a super team. The Rockets in 1998 lost to the Los Angeles Lakers in the very first round of the playoffs, 1-3.
