Turns out, Wade used to listen to Sheeran’s music before playoff games. He admitted: “I played Ed before playoff games, and I did. The reason is because when artists say things that connects with you. ‘Thinking Out Loud’ is one of my favorite songs, came out in 2014, yes, an amazing song.”

Mid-conversation, she played a video message from none other than Ed Sheeran himself. “Hello mate, yeah lovely to meet you at the Met Gala and I hope you have a great time hosting the Today show today and yeah, It was really really lovely to meet you and Hope to see you soon” And Wade?
