“I’m a huge fan of Jalen Hurts. I have been a huge fan of Jalen Hurts all the way going back to college.”, that’s what Dwyane Wade has for the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback. And there is a reason Dwyane Wade has been a fan of the Eagles star for quite some time now. On his Instagram, the Heat legend shared the clip of him talking about the 26-year-old’s personality traits. And this has more to do beyond his football career, something that would benefit the QB even when he retires.
“Just his whole trajectory. He’s been high and in the midst of being high the next season or the next play or the next moment he’s been low and he’s been high. And he continues to be the same individual through it all.” Hurts’ ability to bounce back impressed the 3x NBA Champion. Two years ago, he lost in his first trip to the Super Bowl, but now he could once again write history. By being the fourth quarterback, to win the NFL’s ultimate prize as a starting quarterback after losing his first Super Bowl start.
Apart from the on-field success, the NFL star has something else to offer too. D-Wade feels the $30 million player’s off-field demeanor would help him in the long term. “When he retires, if you’re looking for someone to run your company, someone that has the stable, that can go through the highs and lows of life, like he’s showing you that he has the characteristics to be an amazing person. You know once he gets done playing the game of football.”

The praise comes a long way for the Texan native. From being a second-round pick, he has built his empire as he has racked up $70 million in earnings. Plus his shrewd business negotiations as has partnered up with like Lem͏o͏n Perfec͏t, ͏Gillett͏e͏, ͏Pepsi, Lou͏isiana Hot S͏auce, Ke͏ll͏ogg’s, Truist͏, Oikos P͏rot͏e͏in, ͏and Columbia, just ͏to name͏ a few. This endorsement portfolio paints a picture of a rapidly rising financial trajectory of the Eagles QB.
Years ago, Dwyane Wade pitched for another QB
The year was 2012, and the legendary Peyton Manning was looking for a new home. To sweeten the Miami Dolphins‘ chance, two of the city’s superstar players pitched in. LeBron James and the Heat no. 3 wanted the quarterback to wear the Miami colors after the 2x Super Bowl champion’s exit from the Colts.

“I’m just gonna put it out there…Peyton that number 18 would look gr8 in a dolphins uniform..steve ross let’s go.. marlins & heat style…All in.” Dwyane Wade wrote on X, and LeBron James, too, chimed in to empower the city with great athletes. “I’m just sayin’. Dolphins need a quarterback, and Peyton’s available….” However, their support turned out to be unsuccessful as the Broncos went on to make a deal with him.
This support for Hurts is completely different, though. As the Heat legend predicts, the star quarterback will make the right, astute moves for the future. Jalen Hurts’ business future looks as calculated as his play on the field. Known for his poise and strategic mindset, he has already built a brand that extends far beyond football. With endorsements from top companies, the man knows what he does.
Smartly, he has positioned himself not just as a sports figure but as a marketable icon. And ‘Flash’ being the well-wisher, he urged brands to keep an eye on the 26-year-old. And, he will lock in the brand as he faces the Chiefs in the Super Bowl in a few days.ADVERTISEMENT
