Dwyane Wade and his family are a bunch of talented people. The Flash made himself a name in the NBA, coming out of Chicago following one of his idols, Michael Jordan’s footsteps. Wade retired from the NBA in 2019, but basketball has not left him and his family. After all, he married the Hollywood actor and entrepreneur, Gabrielle Union. The pair is devoted to their three children and has been there for them through thick and thin.

Union, who actively supports and endorses WNBA on her social media, yet again paid tribute to a 27-year-old WNBA star of the Las Vegas Aces.

This post was a montage of A’ja Wilson demonstrating her WNBA championship rings, practicing, and just being herself. A recent game in which Wilson scored 53 points equaled the WNBA record for most points in a game. Union, supporting her friend, posted the video and wrote: “WOMEN CRUSH WEDNESDAY.”

Both Gab and A’ja have always shown each other unconditional love and support. The post emitted the fondness and admiration the two friends have for each other. With Gab’s husband set to join A’ja’s rivals, the next WNBA season could witness some friendly sideline rivalries.

After his retirement in 2019, Dwyane Wade turned into a full-time entrepreneur and supported his family by making up for the lost time.

Wade, a powerhouse for the Miami Heat, is a force to be reckoned with in the business world too. By making numerous investments and securing the future of himself and his family, Wade is turning a lot of heads. 

One such investment by the Hall of Famer made headlines. Earlier this year, The Flash invested in his hometown WNBA team, the Chicago Sky. The investment, with a valuation of $85 million, made the WNBA team the second-highest-valued team in the league.

Wade acquired 10% of the team and became a minority owner of it. This move by Wade shows his commitment and passion to grow the league and make it as massive as the NBA.
