A historic debut at Tomorrowland and now there is no stopping the O’Neal Boyz. Shaquille O’Neal has popularly been DJ Diesel for almost a decade now, while his music connection is even older. Inspired by his father’s passion for music, Myles O’Neal followed right into his footsteps as a DJ. And it was about time that the two united for one historic stint. This came true with Shaq and Myles becoming the first ever father-son duo to play a set in the rave cave at Tomorrowland. But that was just the start.
With the recent stop on the Shaq’s Summer Bass 2024, it seems as the two again shared the stage at Bootshaus Cologne nightclub in Germany. “@oneal.boyz take over @bootshaus” read the caption to the IG post shared by Shaq. An interesting addition to the news? Shaq has had a special connection with the country.
After his biological father left, Shaq’s mother got remarried to Army Sergeant Philip A. Harrison. And Harrison’s job demanded the family stay on an army base in Germany for quite some time.

This goes without saying, but is something that the 27-year-old himself admitted in an interview with IEDM. As mentioned earlier, the 4x NBA champ has had a music connection for almost two decades now. And four studio albums to his name to back that up. In fact, he released his first album even before Myles came into this world.
So it was only natural for the 27-year-old to be surrounded by the world of music growing up. During his interview, Myles stated his love for rap and hip-hop culture started with his father’s fondness for the genre alongside artists like Biggy, 2Pac, Eminem, Scarface, and more. And within no time, Myles had made up his mind about what his future profession would look like.
The 27-year-old has been in the profession for quite some time now. In fact, his net worth already crossed $5 million from his profession, involving music and fashion. And with his father by his side now, the 27-year-old is most likely to achieve new pinnacles of success.
