“Save, save, save. Put away a piece of every paycheck,” said Shaquille O’Neal once about saving and investing money. O’Neal’s journey from an NBA All-Star to a business tycoon is nothing short of remarkable. During his 19-year basketball career, Shaq racked up four NBA championships, and along with that, his earnings topped $292 million, making him one of the highest-paid players in NBA history. Throughout the years, the seven-footer has invested in a lot of business and now wants to convey his knowledge.
Shaq recently took to his Instagram to post a video on his story announcing that he is going to be present in a recent upcoming Investors meet, “Hey it’s Shaquille O’Neal. I’m excited to be speaking at the 40th Keyspire Investors’ Summit in Toronto, Ontario,” said the former center through his Instagram story. Not only this. The seven-footer also stated that he along with other investors, will be giving tips on how to invest in real estate and even urged his fans to buy the tickets as soon as possible since they are selling out quickly. However, one might wonder if the former Los Angeles Lakers champ is a suitable option to take tips from.
One thing is for sure Shaq is more than suitable. Big Diesel’s financial portfolio is nothing but impressive. How? The seven-footer has owned as many as 40 gyms, 150 car washes, 155 Five Guys Burger & Fries, 9 Papa John’s, 17 Auntie Anne’s pretzels, and a few Krispy Kreme restaurants. Although Big Diesel has sold all of his Five Guys holdings, the champ still earns a significant amount from this. Moreover, the

list doesn’t end here. We often see that most of the startups cannot sustain themselves in the market and often fail but not in the case of Shaq. Through these years he has invested in big firms like Google, Lyft Inc., Ring, and Vitaminwater at their startup stage and now they all are blooming in the market.
Along with his investments, O’Neal had also appeared in numerous commercials and has started his chicken fast-food chain by the name of Big Chicken which is available in 18 locations in the United States. His decisions and investments have helped him to have a net worth of $500 million. Hence we can say that he is far from capable of giving business and investment advice. So where is the Investor Meet?
The investor meet which is organized by Keyspire is going to take place on September 28 and will be hosted by Canadian entrepreneur and founder of Keyspire Scott McGillivray. This is the 40th investor summit organized by the firm and is also the first time that they are making it possible for people to attend. Moreover, not only Shaq but also stars of Amazon Prime’s Toronto-based real estate show Luxe Listings, Peter and Paige Torkan; and interior designer Debora Salmoni will also be present in the show to share their knowledge with the public. “We are so excited to have Shaquille O’Neal join us this year. He’s going to be talking about how to own your future in real estate and how he’s taken his success off the court,” said co-founder of Keyspire Michael Sarrachini (as per Newswire).
However, apart from this announcement, did you know that Big Diesel had also made another one regarding his upcoming appearance?
Another upcoming event where Shaquille O’Neal is going to be present
The news of O’Neal being present at the Toronto Investor Summit might have been a shocker for few since no one would have anticipated that the basketball legend would suddenly be imparting his business knowledge. However, a few days back through a video posted on social media, the seven-footer had let his fans know that he is going to present at the upcoming NBA Abu Dhabi event. “I’ll definitely be there,” said Shaq in an Instagram video about the event. But when’s the event?
The event will span over four days in October from the 3rd to the 6th. On 3rd and 4th, there will be an exciting game between the two NBA teams Boston Celtics and Denver Nuggets. This event will also include a fan appreciation day where many basketball stars will be present. “Two great teams, too great players. All the fans in Abu Dhabi will have a great time. When we got two top teams like that, it’s gonna be a great night,” said Shaq in the same video.
