Dwyane Wade is still a hot name in the NBA due to his legacy. In slightly over a week, Flash will be inducted into the prestigious Hall of Fame. Of course, it was not easy for the 41-year-old to let go of the game he loves the most. In fact, Wade was not ready to live his life without basketball. The Miami Heat legend’s wife Gabrielle Union revealed his post-retirement plans in an interview recently. It clearly shows Wade did not hesitate to seek help. However what’s surprising is, a week later now, Wade has revealed a “mental fog” that he faced after his retirement.?

In addition, he also revealed he still continues to go through it. Nonetheless, 50-year-old Union is just super proud of her husband for not thinking twice to take big steps in life.?

Many NBA legends have taken the time to relax and spend moments with their close ones post-retirement. However, that was not the case for Dwyane Wade. The 41-year-old did not know how to move on with life after leaving the thing he loved the most. After all, he had spent most of his life playing basketball. Anyhow, that did not stop Wade from finding a solution for missing it.

50-year-old model Union revealed in an interview with former NBA star Jalen Rose,?”He has done a lot of powerful things. But it was the last season and he was having an interview with Rachel Nichols…She asked him what was next…and he was like ‘THERAPY!'”

Union doubted Wade’s reply as she added, “Let’s see if he really goes.” ?

However, she also revealed that was the very first thing he did. Union also added he was determined by attending Zoom calls during the pandemic to help himself. Union was nothing but proud of her husband’s decisions. However, it seems like Wade is still making use of the therapy.?

The 3-time champion recently shared he wanted to succeed in life post his basketball career.

He also shared he is ready to do anything it takes to stay mentally and physically fit. However, he continues to face a “mental fog”, which makes him go blank at times.?

Nonetheless, nothing seems to be stopping Wade from working on it.

The 41-year-old believes he is still youthful and it is all about being energetic. Wade’s energy was witnessed on the court, but we need some more time to witness it off the court as well. So far, the signs are all good.?

On the 12th of August, Dwyane Wade, along with several modern NBA greats, will be inducted into the Naismith Hall of Fame.
