Shaquille O’Neal in 2023 so far has been a wild run. Even after facing a lot of ups and downs in the last few months, the Los Angeles Lakers legend has managed to stay in his peak form. Ever since a shocking surgery in April, The Big Aristotle has spent more time in the gym fine-tuning himself. Revealing his physical transformation time and again on social media to his 31 million followers, surprisingly Shaq has now demanded something new. Rather something exorbitant.

Though we could say this looks like a ‘return to the NBA’ moment, however on the other hand it also looks like the 4-time champ is teasing the contracts extension in the league off late.

Right before the start of the playoffs, Shaq missed most of April as he took a break from the ‘Inside the NBA‘ for hip surgery. Ever since then, a lot of changes were seen in Shaq. The 51-year-old decided to show more importance to staying fit and working out. Losing 30 pounds is not everyone’s cup of tea. That too at 51!

However, Shaq is known for breaking the standards. Now weighing nearly 364 pounds, the 2000 MVP also shared his goal is to bring it down to 350. For that, he might want to return to the NBA.

In a new video on his Instagram, Shaq was seen playing with the CEO of ‘Authentic Brands Group’.

To the glee of his followers, the LA giant decided to dunk the ball all of a sudden. Still, that was not the only highlight. With a shredded physique now, Shaq wants to relive his beast years.

Shaq added in the captions, “I jumped a whole 1 inch to dunk, sign me to a ten-day 350 million for ten days guaranteed.”

That seems to be a subtle dig at the massive contracts becoming commonplace in the league these days.

Jaylen Brown and Anthony Davis are a few names that topped the list in the contract extension. Shaq previously mocked the Lakers center for the new deal with an Instagram story.

Shaquille O’Neal sharing the post led some to believe that he might be making a subtle dig at Davis’ contract surpassing most of Shaq’s NBA earnings. It’s hard to tell if the story he made was out of spite or just playfulness.
