Shaquille O’Neal is present at a combat event and ends up feuding with somebody. Well, it has happened previously as well, when the Lakers legend was in attendance when Jake Paul faced Mike Tyson. During the Netflix event, the 4x NBA champion called out NFL legend Rob Gronski. Although we are yet to see that match happening anytime soon, it doesn’t mean Shaq has backed down from challenges. This time on his radar is a 24-year-old Adin Ross.

The 24-year-old streamer shared multiple clips of him and the 4x NBA champion going back and forth at UFC 314. You won’t be surprised to know that it’s not the first time both have exchanged words. So, when and where did it all start? Let’s find out.

Shaquille O’Neal and Adin Ross: A real feud or just banter for social media

A couple of weeks ago, while at Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship 70, the two found seats next to one another. It did not take long for the $24 million worth streamer to stir the pot. Ross decided to smack Shaquille O’Neal when the icon was enjoying his candies. What unfolded next was comedy gold, as the Big Aristotle dropped his M&M on the floor. In the video, Shaq had a few death stares, signifying that he was upset.

The clip on X has garnered over 12.6 million views, and Ross couldn’t help but control his laugh in the video. But that was not the only interaction that got the people excited about the two fighting.

Even if it was a playful jab, it didn’t sit well with the former NBA legend, as he was in no mood for jokes. Later, Adin Ross would up the notch with his jokes. A reporter went to Ross to ask him how he feels about teasing someone who is double the size of him. “We are going to Bare Knuckle,” said the YouTuber. Hold on, there is more to the statement.

“I’m getting Shaq right here. I want Shaq. Yeah, I’m calling him out and everything in his face right here. And I can DJ better than him too.” That’s why the interaction of the 24-year-old and the 53-year-old at the recent UFC event got more eyeballs.

Is Shaq facing legal charges after coming face-to-face with the content creator?

Shaquille O’Neal was among the many celebrities spotted ringside at UFC 314, held at the Kaseya Center in Miami. He even shared a moment with President Donald Trump. But the highlight remains his interaction and constant jabs with Adin Ross. The Florida native in a video called out Shaq as they shared eye contact.

“Stand up and do something! Do something, man! Do something about it! Fight me! You gonna go to sleep, old man. You unc status now.” This was Ross’s reply, as in the video, we could see Shaquille O’Neal mouthing from afar. Even though we couldn’t hear the Lakers legend’s words, we could see his actions. In the 30-second clip, Shaq swipes his finger around his neck twice. On his Instagram, Ross had originally posted the footage with the caption, “Shaq do it I can’t wait to sue.” 

As stated before, the Lakers legend has no issues challenging for fights or accepting challenges. But we have yet to see him get in the ring with any of his recent challengers. So, will Adin Ross and his challenge be any different? Only time will tell.
