Like most ESPN analysts, JJ Redick is known for his hot takes on everything related to basketball. The Duke legend continues to share his valuable basketball knowledge during his podcasts and analysis. While he is quite open and candid about his opinion on the sport, the retired NBA player likes to keep his personal life private. His wife, Chelsea Redick, seems to practice the same and stays out of the public eye.
The legend has been married to Chelsea for over a decade and keeps going strong. But surprisingly, not much is known about the 39-year-old veteran’s wife. Here is everything that we know about the Redick Family.

She rarely gives interviews or shares personal details on social media. Moreover, Redick has kept her Instagram private, with 946 followers. Her Instagram bio, “Twin Mommy, Pilates Instructor, wifey“ tells her dedication and love for her family. Daughter to Robin and John Kilgore, Redick’s wife has a twin sister, Kylee Jean, who works in a Public Relations company in New York City.
Born in Florida on May 12, 1987, Chelsea completed her high school education in Canton Public School. She attained a degree in elementary education and teaching from Mississippi State University. Right after college, she began to look for opportunities in the fitness world. Both Chelsea and Redick share the same love for staying fit and healthy. Just as her Instagram bio suggests, she is a certified Pilates instructor.
She is also a part of the J. J. Redick Foundation. Often, when the Orlando Magic star is occupied with his job as an ESPN analyst, his wife helps him with the work in the organization. This foundation works closely to help and teach children to play basketball and encourage them to pursue their passion in whatever sport they like. The organization was formed in 2011, just one year after their marriage.
