Shaquille O’Neal is currently living it up by DJing with his millionaire son, Myles O’Neal, in Europe. Amidst tension with TNT losing its NBA broadcasting rights and the responsibilities of his other businesses, O’Neal ensures that he is present for all of his kids. Despite living in different cities, the O’Neal kids are also quite supportive of each other.

While Me’Arah has swept the nation with her incredible, father-like basketball skills, her older brother is quietly working with their father on one of his business endeavors. Here is what the O’Neal kids are currently doing.

Not long ago, O’Neal’s eldest, Taahirah, made the decision to move to Georgia. She was born to his ex-girlfriend, Arnetta Yardbourgh. After completing her studies at Oglethorpe University, she joined PepsiCo as a communications associate analyst.

The Lakers legend and Taahirah’s close friends were seen celebrating the 27-year-old’s move from Texas recently. Now that she lives closer to her father, Taahirah often joins him on fun outings. While she is embracing a new life with new people around her, Myles is taking a step ahead in his career.

With a passion sparked by his father, Myles slowly began to pursue his musical career. Last year, he launched several new songs, including “Naked,” “Superficial” (featuring Hadar Adora), “Revival,” and a few other hits. This year, he released “All I Need.” This July, the father-son duo performed at an EDM festival in Romania and then in the Rave Cave at Tomorrowland. Following this, they headed to Carpe Diem Beach in Hvar, Croatia. Myles is also a model.

After making appearances on his mother Shaunie Henderson’s reality TV shows as a kid, he made his modeling debut at Dolce & Gabbana’s Spring 2018 runway show during Milan Fashion Week. Nevertheless, the father and son duo isn’t always alone in traveling the world. Myles’ brother Shareef also joins them sometimes.

What is Shareef O’Neal doing?

Shareef follows his father’s passion for basketball. After playing for the UCLA Bruins, Shareef joined the G-League. However, he wasn’t there for long. The last time he played for the now-defunct G League Ignite was during the 2022-23 season, where he averaged 5.6 points and 3.2 rebounds per game.

Despite stepping away from the court, he is not done with basketball. Currently, he is working with his father at Reebok. In May 2024, he shared the news with his fans, hinting that he plans to return to playing basketball again soon.

Guys, I’ve been working alongside my father with rebranding Reebok brand.. and we will get it back to the top. I WILL BE HOOPING AGAIN, I know I’ve been missing and haven’t been posting what I’m doing but I did not stop! I will be back soon! Just want to help out my dad,” Shareef wrote on his social media.

The Los Angeles Lakers legend’s youngest son, Shaqir, also plays basketball and played for Texas Southern. Shaqir was a part of the 2022 and 2023 SWAC Tournament Championship Texas Southern Tigers’ teams. After three years, he moved to Florida. The Florida A&M is also his aunt’s alma mater. Equally passionate about basketball are O’Neal’s younger daughters.

Both are talented basketball players. Amirah played for her father’s alma mater, LSU. Following this, she joined the Texas Southern University. She happily announced her first job and own apartment on social media with her followers in July 2024.

“WORKOUTS ARE ABOUT TO START. I GOT MY FIRST JOB. I GOT MY OWN APARTMENT. I HAVE THE BEST BOYFRIEND. I HAVE THE BEST FAMILY….I’VE BEEN WORKING ON MY STUFF!!! LIFE IS GOOOOD!!!!,” O’Neal wrote on her Instagram Story.

O’Neal’s 17-year-old, Me’Arah, was ranked No. 33 overall in the 2024 recruiting class. Me’Arah averaged 19.2 points and 11.8 rebounds to lead Episcopal High to the SPC Class 4A State Championship. After her successful high school career, she declared for the Florida Gators and will be one to watch out for over the coming years in the NCAA.
