The tributary statue of ‘The Flash’ being erected by the Miami Heat has created enough suspense about its posture and design. Interviews of D. Wade, his son’s Instagram posts, and speculations from sports analysts around the corners are among the elements that contribute to such a din. Even though the Rotblatt Amrany Studio hasn’t cut a slack for the speculators, statements made by Dwayne Wade himself have proven that it is likely to replicate the legend on an iconic posture. So while we remain oblivious to that information, the details building on the excitement have ensured to arrive in time.
Right on schedule, the statue unveiling is confirmed for this Sunday, October 27 in front of the west end of Kaseya Center. Since there is a space constraint, the entry is restricted by free tickets upon registration. Hope you have your hands on one of those!

Indeed, it is a two-day event, with the statue unveiling at 5:00 PM on the 27th and a Dwayne Wade Statue Night to be celebrated the very next day from 7:30 PM when the Heat hosts the Detroit Pistons. Since Father Prime has himself paid attention to the statue and the events, it is likely to be a smooth dunk. Now that you know the schedule, wouldn’t it be exciting to know about participating members?
Other than D. Wade and the current Miami team, a couple of dignitaries from the Heat could be expected. This includes charming Micky Arison, the Managing General Partner of the Heat, and Nick Arison, the Heat CEO. Coach Spo is also expected to be there, not to disappoint fans. The Heat president Pat Riley, who once addressed Wade as the face of the franchise, is also not going to miss the event.
Speaking of entertainment, the statue unveiling event is to be followed by a live performance by American Rapper Rick Ross, who has a special interest in the Miami Heat. Ross will also introduce Nino Breeze, the promising talent from his Maybach Music Group. While this will be a day of indulging in pop music, the 28th of October could see the Hall of Fame legend himself addressing fans at halftime of the game.
This event is going to be a proud moment for Wade since he is the first player from the Heat to receive such an ovation. On retrospection, as his brand new Aston Martin represents, this is a day of triumph for the legend. Miami Heat have all the right to take the baton for this moment given the role Wade played for the franchise.

A bond reinforced through seasons
A 16-year-long basketball career with accolades including three NBA championships and an NBA Final MVP is something worth looking back for the legend. A majority of this journey was accompanied by the Heat which includes the long 2003-2016 term and the short 2018-2019 stint before his retirement.
If Wade has acquired a total of 20,000 points in his entire career and 1000 points against 1o different franchise, he also led the Miami Heat through its golden eras. The 2004 to 2010 seasons of Wade with Heat were his record-breaking outputs ever seen in the franchise history.

To reiterate the words of Pat Riley: “When we retired his jersey in February 2020, I said Dwyane was the face of this franchise forever and I meant it.” The statue that is being erected is concrete proof that those words were not an emotional lullaby.
This immortal proof of a profound connection between a franchise and a player is also going to be a motivation for many generations to come. Hope you won’t miss out on this opportunity to be part of an NBA history.
