Shaquille O’Neal not only revealed his all-time list but also made a small addition to it. Sharing his starting five, Shaq did not hesitate to add two of the best former players from the NBA. However, what’s surprising is this helped an NBA insider recall the Los Angeles Lakers legend disrespecting the great Michael Jordan. The 4x champion’s list screams “dominance“. However, the entire focus has shifted to how Shaq did not hesitate to ignore His Airness, by giving the ‘best player ever’ badge to someone else.
Moreover, this comes a few days after he broke silence on a Philadelphia 76ers legend’s controversial all-time list. All things considered now, it is clear that Shaq will not hesitate to defend his best buddy. Who is it?

The Big Diesel shared his starting five, along with six players from the bench. Shaq chose himself and Stephen Curry to be the best duo ever but went on to drop the Golden State Warriors guard from his starting five. However, both Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan made it to the top five, along with LeBron James, Magic Johnson, and himself.
In most of the top five lists, it has been either MJ or the Black Mamba. However, according to Shaq, both are deadly. Nonetheless, that does not stop him from placing one above another.
In a video revealed by $16.4 billion worth Fox News, famous sports analyst Chris Broussard, looking at Shaq’s starting five, revealed an interesting interaction he had with the Lakers giant in 2004. The analyst shared, “Back in 04, Kobe was phenomenal…That’s when Shaq was saying, ‘Kobe’s the best player ever’…And I went up to him privately and I was like…’What about Jordan?’ “
Shaq’s reply speaks volumes about his love for Bryant. The 2000 MVP answered, “What about him?”

NBA legend Julius Erving’s top 10 led to hate towards him. His decision to keep it old school was not entertained by many. Moreover, Dr. J did not hesitate to leave out both Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal from the top 10. However, Shaq’s reply to the 1983 champion’s list was different.
The LA legend revealed he respects the list and has no problem with it. Honestly, Shaq wouldn’t care if he was not added to the list. However, it would be a problem for him if Bryant was left out. Thankfully, it was Dr. J, someone Shaq has a lot of respect for, and thus he has no problem with the controversial top 10.
