Having an aura like Dennis Rodman can be helpful at times. Despite his retirement from the NBA years ago, the 62-year-old is a popular figure in town. Impossible to overlook with his funky tattoos and dramatic hairstyles, ‘The Worm’ recently caught up with retired superstar Floyd Mayweather Jr. But it looks like the meeting has influenced another NBA legend into acknowledging the invincible boxing champion.
See, while Mayweather has hanged his gloves six years back, he hasn’t stopped punching a bag. ‘Money’ was recently spotted having a go at one, which reached the social media feed of Rodman’s former teammate from Detroit Pistons.

?overtimeboxing?, an Instagram handle with over 599,000 followers, recently uploaded a reel. Titling it, ?FLOYD?S JAB?, the clip featured Floyd Mayweather practicing his punches as onlookers with cameras watched on.
Moving at a speed faster than an average person could comprehend, Mayweather made 7 quick jabs at a punching bag. The bag produced a whip-like sound every time it received one from the Olympic bronze medalist.
The clip caught the attention of Pistons legend Isiah Thomas, who uploaded it on his Instagram story for his 660,000 followers.

Known for being one of Michael Jordan?s longtime rivals, the 2x NBA champion was a point guard for the Detroit Pistons during his entire 13-year career with professional basketball. While not much is known about his enthusiasm regarding other sports, Thomas does know to give credit when it?s due. And Mayweather?s skill display was enough to merit a shout-out.
How did Dennis Rodman run into Mayweather?
Thomas? reaction to the video comes only a week after the boxer caught the attention of another athlete associated with the Pistons.
A few days ago, Dennis Rodman?s 31-year-old girlfriend Yella Yella took to Instagram to share a post with her 108,000 followers. It featured her shaking hands with Floyd Mayweather, as Rodman and onlookers gazed on.
The picture marked the first time that the duo of Rodman and Mayweather had been seen in public since they teamed up during an NBA Celebrity All-Star match.
