You might want to think twice before messing with one of the most formidable Miami Heat stars. He is one of the NBA’s most formidable players. He doesn’t shy away from seeking full retribution when the situation calls for it. His former teammate and Miami Heat legend Udonis Haslem seems to have a similar opinion. But who is the player in question? The OGs podcast by Haslem and Mike Miller is in full swing. As anticipated, it continues to bring some of the finest narratives within NBA stories.

For the second episode, the duo had their special guest, Bam Adebayo, join them. During the conversation, Haslem and Adebayo shared an amusing story about an ex-Heat player, James Johnson.

After describing Johnson’s recent deal with the Pacers, Haslem mentioned how once the 36-year-old player beat his teammate. The Heat icon refused to mention the name of the other player and recounted their verbal argument. He stated that following the verbal dispute, Johnson called out the unnamed player to the practice room to beat him.

He said, Remember that time we were upstairs playing pickup and I ain’t say no name but somebody on our team called JJ a B***h and this JJ say, ‘hey you got to see me after practice’. Everybody say oh S**t.” He added, “I say we Hunger Games yall.” Adebayo added how the duo later solved their argument quickly after beating them.

Apart from his basketball skills, Johnson holds several black belts in karate and has a background in mixed martial arts training. It was probably not a great idea for someone to mess with him.

Haslem narrated the story after he praised the Indiana Pacers for signing Johnson after the incident with Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Post their recent game against the Bucks, the Pacers purportedly presented the game ball to their rookie player. Subsequently, Antetokounmpo entered the Pacers locker room to reclaim the ball. Fans speculate that signing Johnson may have been influenced by this incident, while Giannis believes that the ball might be a fake one. What are your thoughts on this?
