The Usher concerts have made headlines recently. While Usher is a legendary performer, he has very little to do with the news that his shows are churning out. It all started in July of this year with the Keke Palmer controversy. That event was then followed by the R&B icon backtracking on his moves on Gabrielle Union in Dwyane Wade‘s presence.

Who knows what it is like to be Michael Jeffrey Jordan? There is only one of his kind. With his level of fame, success, and wealth, any rumor that pops up, people have very few reasons to not believe it to be true. Similarly, when the news of the 43-year-old comedian performing for him surfaced, fans took it at face value and ran with it. However, as we got to find out from the lady herself, she was, in fact, not dancing for the Chicago Bulls legend.

The comedian and actress recently made an appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel Live. When asked about the clip of her “dancing for Michael Jordan”, she debunked the story with her truth. Haddish said, “He was sitting next to my home girl and I was dancing for her. It was her birthday”. When the video stopped abruptly, before the big reveal, she said, “That’s the problem with social media. Y’all don’t show things go all the way through”.

Similar to most rumors, there was more to it than what was presented.
