After achieving Hall of Fame status and two jerseys retired in the rafters, Vince Carter is on his pursuit of another sport! For some time, he has fully committed to golf excellence! The Raptors legend has been making waves with a golf club and participating in different pro events. The Half-Man/Half-Amazing has a deep bag of swings just like his array of dunks. Speaking about dunking, the NBA icon recently met with Archie Bradley on a course and posterized him with an answer.

Bradley is one of the most popular Arizona Diamondbacks players in the past decade. But even the former MLB star with his famous beard, has taken up golfing. One such moment, on the golf course, was with Vince Carter at The Players Championship golf tournament at TPC Sawgrass. “Me: I think I could have played in the NBA.” Carter, who spent 22 seasons in the league, quickly shut that down. “you are crazy

Even though Bradley added the roast to his story, he previously appreciated his time with the 2000 NBA Slam Dunk champion. “@mrvincecarter15 x @archiebradley7 Only at @theplayers @tpcsawgrass Hall of Fame 22 years in the league dunk champion @mrvincecarter15 was a blast to play and hang out with today!” For Vince Carter, it is not new to hang around other athletes, especially on the golf course.

The 48-year-old joined an elite group at the 2025 Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard pro-am. At the PGA TOUR event saw him team up with golf star Tony Finau, MLB legend Ken Griffey Jr., and former NFL tight end Kyle Rudolph. The official PGA TOUR page didn’t let this star power go unnoticed, sharing a post that perfectly summed up the moment: “Four Sports. One Group.”

Not just Bradley, but another former NFL player had his fanboy moment with Vince Carter

But for Kyle Rudolph, the experience was more than just another round of golf. The former NFL player took a moment to share just how special the day was. “For a kid who grew up ‘swinging like Ken’ and ‘dunking like Vince’ in the backyard, yesterday was one for the books!!” he wrote on his Instagram Story, tagging the NBA icon and the rest of the group.

And of course, Vince Carter saw it and had to respond. His love for truly a thing to note! Plus, his choice of equipment also stays constant.

Ping Golf—every single club in his bag. Vince Carter has been loyal to Ping for as long as he can remember, and for good reason. “I’ve just always had the best results with Ping.” So, we can safely assume the HOFer will continue to golf and end up giving others more star-struck experiences.
