NBA players are scary to look at. While standing around other athletes, they might look normal, but seeing them up close is scary. These gigantic humans with insane strength and builds are genuinely terrifying. That’s where Shaquille O’Neal comes in. The 7-foot tall, 300-pounder is a horrifying size to face.

However, as nature’s great irony, he has a heart of gold, and comedic chops to put comedians out of business. As a result, for interviews, podcasts, and hilarious videos, he is the man to turn to. Over the last week, his dalliance with millionaire chef Nick DiGiovanni has been a riot.

O’Neal’s trips into the culinary world have not been limited prior to his experience with Nick, of course.

The most notable, though, was his trip to the famous Hot Wings challenge. However, in cooking a burger against DiGiovanni, Shaq was at his apex best. Whether it was trolling Charles Barkley, or calling onions disgusting, he was in top form. In the end, he hilariously threatened the judge, another YouTube chef, Albert, into choosing his burger as the winner.

But it seems like retribution is the flavor of the season. The two, Nick and Albert, devised a plan to make Shaq pay. After looking at his iconic appearance at the Hot Ones Challenge, they took it upon themselves to make the hottest wing imaginable. After Stephen Curry recently did remarkably well on his trip to the show, could Nick and Albert surpass the spice?

As the two hilarious set about inventing a new hot sauce, the preparation involved loading the mixture with as much spice as possible. After it had reached obscene levels, they invited the Los Angeles Lakers monster. While Shaq set about dipping his wing in the sauce, the two evil geniuses saw their plan come to fruition. After eating it, however, the Miami Heat legend pulled quite a shocker.

Shaq to the hospital

On his appearance on the Hot Ones show, we had seen Shaq has a relatively low tolerance for spicy wings. However, the one made by Nick and Andrew was on a whole other level. As a result, O’Neal was in shock by the first bite.

Chugging down water, O’Neal eventually fainted. Waking up in a hospital bed, the 4-time NBA Champion was under the care and guidance of two world-class chefs. Fate, it seems, had a funny way of repaying the two masters.
