With technology at its current pace, nobody can really blame Shaq for falling for a fake video. However, the context of the video is what makes it compelling. As one of the few 7-footers in the world, Big Diesel thought he was witnessing his robotic match.

The viral 30-second video is from Dubai. It shows the king of Bahrain wearing a thawb. Oh, and he has a robot bodyguard closely following him.

Soon, the video started to gain attention with its caption that read, “King Of Bahrain.”

The robot in the video also was subject to many discussions. People jumped in with their own speculations. But nothing was certain about the video. However, Shaquille O’Neal was fascinated with the robot.

The Big man has a towering height of 7 feet. The stature and height of the robot impressed him. He immediately took to his IG story to share the video.

Not only the Big Aristotle, but many fans also fell victim to the misleading video. According to the reports, the man in the video is not the King of Bahrain and the robot is not his bodyguard.

 Shaquille O’Neal might not be 7’1.

If you look at records, Shaq is listed at 7 feet tall.

With his stature, the Los Angeles Lakers legend makes even the tallest person look tiny next to him. However, in a conversation, Shaquille O’Neal revealed that he is not 7 feet tall! In fact, he is 6’11. When Nigerian player Giannis Antetokounmpo who is 6’11 claimed that he is taller than O’Neal, the Big Man’s response surprised everyone.

He said, “First of all, I’m not 7’1”. I’m 6’11”. I just played like I was 7’1”.″
