After the much-talked-about loss to Angel Reese’s LSU Tigers, the team is highly motivated for this season. Clark scored 44 points, secured eight rebounds, and provided six assists, propelling her side to victory. She made a stunning record as she scored the highest ever allowed by Virginia Tech to their opponents. 

To show her support, Vanessa shared a tribute post for the star. Lady Bryant shared an image of the 6ft guard with heart emojis. The NCAA player also reciprocated the love by resharing Vanessa’s IG story.

Judging from Clark’s performance, we might have witnessed a preview of what could be an incredibly dominant season. The Hawkeyes won their first NCAA game by a ridiculous margin of 56 points! Clark almost dropped a triple-double in the 102-46 win on Tuesday.

Caitlin Clark’s spectacular performance against the Fairleigh Dickinson

In the previous game, she scored 17 of her 28 points in the crucial first quarter. She had 10 assists and seven rebounds in just 24 minutes. Notably, with that she achieved double-figure scoring in an impressive streak of 91 consecutive games. Her game against the Fairleigh Dickinson was only a small part of what she displayed in her recent game.

Her performance against Virginia Tech even surprised the NBA Hall of Famer Dwyane Wade. Taking to his X, he wrote, “Caitlin Clark is simply good at basketball! That’s all.”
