Vanessa Bryant has championed several causes over the years. She is known for her philanthropic work and is always committed to projects that help make people’s lives better. Recently, the 41-year-old attended the Baby2Baby Gala 2023. Baby2Baby works for children in need, living in poverty, and provides them with necessities such as clothes and diapers.

Although the cause is in itself special, Vanessa ensured she made a statement for the event. She arrived for an event in a red dress and her friends on social media couldn’t help but admire her. From Khloe Kardashian to La La Anthony, several notable people showed love to the late great Kobe Bryant‘s widow.

Vanessa is friends with some of the most high-profile celebrities in Hollywood. However, she has also crafted a niche for herself over the years and is highly revered for her courage among the A-listers. She has been highly successful in keeping Kobe and Gigi’s legacy alive with several partnerships and collaborations with big companies. Additionally, Vanessa also manages the Kobe and Vanessa Bryant Foundation which was founded in 2007. Through this foundation, she helps provide scholarships to students worldwide among other necessities.

Recently, she made an appearance at the Baby2Baby Gala alongside Hailey Beiber, Salma Hayek, Jessica Alba, and others. When she posted a clip, showing her outfit for the special occasion, several celebrities flocked to the comments, admiring the 41-year-old. Khloe Kardashian wrote “V!!!!!!!! Wow!!!!!!!! Wow!!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️” whereas Carmelo Anthony‘s ex-wife wrote, “Just gorgeous”. Kobe’s ex-teammate Pau Gasol’s wife also marked her attendance while admiring Vanessa’s look, “❤️🔥😍”, she reacted.

Hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg was also present at the event and he performed some of his classics. Snoop is a lifelong Lakers fan and was a good friend of Kobe as well. Vanessa posted videos of her dancing and rapping alongside the hip-hop veteran.

Kobe Bryant’s long list of philanthropic work

The late 5x NBA champion was also more than a great basketball player. The LA Lakers legend made sure that he impacted people’s lives as much as possible. During his career spanning two decades, Kobe granted over 200 Make-a-wish requests. When asked about it, he said he realized the impact that he had as a superstar athlete but also understood that it may all be over soon. His mentality was that he must use his time to inspire others and spread as much joy as he could.

Apart from that, the late legend was also an advocate for Stand Up to Cancer, After School All-Stars, and Step Up on Second among other projects. Kobe lived for everything that he claimed and it is heartening to see Vanessa carrying the family’s legacy forward.
