Shaquille O’Neal, from time to time, likes to showcase his sense of humor to his audience. However, this time Shaq might have unknowingly shared an AI-generated clip. The doctorate holder is getting trolled by the fans for believing the video is real.

Rocko Slater on Instagram with over 4500+ followers uploaded the video. The digital creator’s post became one of his highest-liked videos in recent times with 300+ likes. Known for uploading funny clips of celebrities or interesting events, his clip got attention from the great O’Neal.

The reel had a caption attached to the video starting with RSP News. “History in the 1940s 20 foot tall woman. How the WNBA got started.” RSP News should have been a clear sign that it’s fake, yet, Shaq shared it on his Instagram story.

The video also had a voice-generated description of the news which was false. “Throughout the 1940s, a groundbreaking basketball league emerged. Featuring towering 20-foot women who captivated audiences nationwide as they traveled the United States showcasing their extraordinary athletic abilities on the court. This league would eventually evolve into what we know as the WNBA today.”

We all know social media is unforgiving, so when a 4x NBA champion has a moment like this, people will have fun at Shaq’s expense. But one thing nobody can understand is the reason behind sharing the post. Fans are asking “Why Shaq”, and the answer might be revealed in one of his podcasts. Surely O’Neal won’t forget the roast from the fans.

Fans react to the epic failure of Shaq

Dr. Shaq considers himself a learned man. He takes pride in education and even told his children to pursue a degree instead of basketball. Shaq sharing an AI-generated video was an eyebrow-raising moment for the fans. “Shaq is believing AI,” a fan was confused.

With the advancement of AI, only a few are immune to scams and deepfakes. Many use this to increase engagement on social media knowing that the content is clickbaity. One of the fans understood why O’Neal might have fallen for AI as he wrote, “Shaq bro, you not alone but milking AI.”

Another fan likened Shaq to those who believe everything that features on social media is true. “Shaq the Facebook mother who believes anything on the internet,” the fan wrote.

One fan couldn’t believe that such fake content made its way to the Instagram story of a renowned personality like Shaq. “Bro why the f**k is this on Shaq story, unc is cooked,” the fan expressed his shock.

There was a view that it was intentionally done to attract followers. A fan compared it to the love-hate relationship of Shaq and Charles Barkley. Shaq doesn’t like losing to Barkley and the fan reminded him he had been getting fooled by Sir Charles regularly, as he got fooled by AI on this occasion, “Shaq got fooled by AI, but then again you get fooled by Chuck on the daily.”
