UFC 290 saw Alexander Volkanovski solidify his claim as one of the best mixed martial artists in the world. Fellow UFC star Israel Adesanya was hyped after the Australian successfully defended his featherweight title against Yair Rodriguez on Saturday. After the event, the UFC stars celebrated the massive victory at a wild party with celebrities like Shaquille O’Neal, Jamal Murray, and others. Interestingly, Izzy even reenacted his infamous celebration with Shaq’s son, Myles O’Neal.

Shaq and Myles were at the party at Encore Beach Club in Las Vegas after UFC 290. However, the two were there for business as DJs. The father-son duo had the fans bouncing with their music throughout the event. Nonetheless, Adesanya choosing to recreate a controversial moment took fans by surprise.

Israel Adesanya reclaimed his middleweight title in UFC 287 against Alex Pereira. The Last Stylebender had an interesting celebration in mind, which he had perceived before the fight. Notably, he even asked for permission from the referee to perform his celebration if he beat Pereira and the official agreed.

So after the win, Izzy struck the bow and arrow pose as he fired three imaginary arrows into his body while Pereira was unconscious. Interestingly, he revealed he had an even worse celebration in mind. Even though the celebration was cold, it was not questionable. However, things took a turn when Adesanya taunted Pereira’s 12-year-old son, Alessandro.

Understandably, Alex Pereira was furious about this and called Izzy out. After his actions stirred major controversy, fans saw Adesanya striking the bow and arrow celebration once again with Myles O’Neal. However, Shaquille O’Neal might not be enraged with this one, as it was all in good fun.

Myles shared the celebration along with several other images and clips from the wild rave. Interestingly, Myles and Adesanya had a fun stare-down as well. In the post-event conference, when asked why he taunted Pereira’s son, he admitted being “petty,” but still seemed reasonably mad at the “f**king little asshole” for something he did in 2017.

Israel Adesanya sparked controversy by taunting Alex Pereira’s son after the knockout. While he was wheeling away in celebration, he pointed at Pereira’s son and pretended to be KO’d. While many were unhappy with his action, Adesanya had his reasons.

Izzy revealed that Pereira’s son taunted him after Pereira knocked him out in 2017. Adesanya admitted that he was petty, and he tried to remind the 12-year-old about his initial taunt with his celebration. Izzy said, “I looked for his kid and I pointed at him when I saw, and said, ‘Hey, hey, hey!’ [Poses the KOed gesture] just to remind him.
