As an alumnus, the legend is thrilled to witness their victory, and he also mentioned the reasons behind his jealousy over the team.

It was a proud moment for every Marquette University alum including the former Miami Heat player. As the team was about to make history with its performance, the Hall of Famer was also present to show his support. The game was held in the Stan Sheriff Center in Hawaii.
Showcasing his jealousy, Wade said, ?I am a little jealous we never got to come to Hawaii, it’s a lot of things you can be jealous of.”
Though said in a humorous manner, he pointed out that there are other aspects one might feel proud of. Following that, he mentioned the role he and his teammates have played for the team and how it might have impacted them. He explained, ?But I’m glad that you know we were able to do what we did to be able to set the stage for moments that have to come after through us and so that’s why we can celebrate it together.??
He also praised the players and the coach’s efforts, in addition to the team’s historical win against Kansas.

Marquette University beat the top-ranked Kansas Jayhawks
The Eagles were already charged up thanks to Wade’s presence. With formidable players like Oso Ighodaro and Kam Jones, the team was poised to bring about significant changes this time, and they did not disappoint. Ighodaro contributed 21 points and nine rebounds to lead the team.
