NBA giant Magic Johnson is one of the wealthiest men in the sports world. Not just in terms of racking up an impressive net worth but also in knowledge. Just recently, the billionaire took the opportunity to share his expertise with the audience. 

A famed company, Delta Skyclub which is around 27.7 billion worth, invited the Los Angeles Lakers star to share his valuable financial and business advice with their employees. The 12x NBA All-Star was the special guest at the GM conference held by the company in Atlanta. This was again in partnership with the joint venture called SodexoMagic with his company Magic Johnson Enterprises. About 250 members (General managers) were present at the event. Taking to his Instagram account, Johnson shared a few glimpses from the event. Along with the snaps, he also penned down a message to express his gratitude to the company. The caption read, “Another amazing event with SodexoMagic in the books!…The best leaders make their employees and teammates better, and my keynote address discussed all the benefits of winning together.”

Furthermore, he added, “Thank you to Delta CEO Ed Bastian for the special gift and to Dwight James, Senior Vice President, Customer Engagement & Loyalty for Delta Air Lines, and CEO, Delta Vacations for having me!”

Magic Johnson brings hope and inspiration in times of despair

The LA city has given so much to the legend. Even after all these years, Johnson keeps reciprocating the love. From “Holiday Hope” event donations to helping hundreds of families struggling due to the pandemic, the champion has his own way of sharing his love. Magic recently helped Delaware State University earn about $3 million in one night. In addition to a promise of a $1 million donation in the future, Johnson contributed $600,000 to the University.

Apart from charity events, the legend also attends numerous conferences like the one mentioned above to share his business acumen with the fans. He is also a health advocate and ensures development in that category. Currently, Johnson is a part owner of the WNBA team Los Angeles Sparks and NFL team Washington Commanders and ensures to give adequate moral support to the teams.
