One of Dennis Rodman’s wild stories was the night of the Radio Music Awards in 2003. He wrote in his book that he does not remember much about what happened that night. But according to his bodyguard, Wendell, he was not in his senses and needed to be escorted everywhere.
“I don’t remember much of this, but Wendell says I was like some wino on skid row. He was holding me up.”
Rodman was apparently so drunk and the producers of the show got the hint of it and canceled his presentation. As a result, he was denied his backstage pass but that did not stop the NBA legend from going there.
“The producers of the show got wind I was drunk, canceled my award presentation, and even denied me a backstage pass. I went backstage anyway, falling down drunk.”
As soon as he reached he noticed how everyone was avoiding him. However, he saw American rapper Puff Daddy and misbehaved. As a result, the security dragged him out of the backstage.
“Then security showed up and dragged my a** out of there no backstage pass.” Rodman with his bodyguard later went to a strip club. But matters were just beginning to get worse.
