There is a lot to note about the Phoenix Suns as they continue to excel in the Western Conference with a 7-game winning streak. Kevin Durant was initially a solo warrior in an injured Suns. However, the return of Devin Booker has instantly put them back into the contest. In a game against the New York Knicks, Booker decided to bring all the attention toward him with a last-minute dagger. Yet the best part is the comparisons he has been receiving which might put a grin on his face.

A 25-year-old Suns veteran who witnessed Booker’s heroics live, reminisced about late legend Kobe Bryant to share heavy praise for his teammate in a post-game interview. What was the iconic shot from Booker? Let’s take a look.

No Durant, no worries! Devin Booker and Kevin Durant have played a pivotal role in the offense as always. But the two continue to be effective when only either of them are on the court. Durant who was sidelined today, watched Booker secure a terrific 28 points and 11 assists, and most importantly their 7th continuous win.

Anyhow, what stole the show for the hoop fans was Booker’s three-point dagger which sealed the win. Fading away towards the side, the 27-year-old shooting guard hit a tough shot over Julius Randle, leaving just 1.7 seconds on the clock.

25-year-old Jordan Goodwin, who witnessed Booker’s fadeaway shared, “I thought he was Kobe for a second”. Just like the Los Angeles Lakers legend, Booker had the courage to go over two defenders in the final possession and also completed the play.

While the Bryant comparisons might sound surprising for many, this is not the first time Booker is being compared with the 5-time champion.
