Trinity Rodman Shows Mercy to Shaquille O’Neal, Hilariously Sparing Him From Public Embarrassment

21-year-old Trinity Rodman, the daughter of Chicago Bulls icon Dennis Rodman, joined the sets of Inside the NBA a few days back, which she teased on her Instagram. Notably, the soccer superstar was accompanied by her teammate Jaedyn Shaw and hell broke loose on the sets of Studio J, as Shaquille O’Neal tried to do what many have failed to do successfully more often than not: stop them from scoring. 

To throw light into their crucial soccer game tomorrow against Japan, the two stars joined the TNT crew, but they decided to mess with Shaq. In an Instagram video shared by the United States Women’s National team, Shaq took the challenge of keeping the goal against Trinity and Jaedyn Shaw. Although the 7ft giant blocked Trinity’s attempt to nutmeg him, he did not stand a chance against Jaedyn.

However, fans felt Trinity was going easy on Uncle Shaq. A few fans commented, “Trinity was easy on Uncle Shaq,” “They took it easy on him,” and, “Trinity went easy on him”. While the reason for their sudden appearance on the set is unknown, it was no surprise seeing Trinity and Shaq’s bond.

In June 2023, Team USA decided to rope in a few famous figures to introduce the selected players for the FIFA Women’s World Cup, and Shaq was one of them. The Big Diesel took the honor of welcoming Trinity, while other celebrities like Taylor Swift, and Mikaela Shiffrin welcomed the other young athletes of the team.

“Trinity Rodman, welcome to your first World Cup, go kick some a**, bring back that victory, GO USA,” Shaq told the Washington Spirit forward. Well, Trinity might have gone easy on her opponent today, but that won’t be the case tomorrow. 

What is the do-or-die challenge for Trinity Rodman in her representation for Team USA tomorrow? 

Team USA is hosting the SheBelieves Cup, which is set to kick off on April 6. The inaugural game will be played by the home team, and they are facing the mighty Japan in the first round, which is basically the Semi-Finals. Only 4 nations are participating in this tournament: USA, Japan, Brazil, and Canada. Although there will be a maximum of two battles for Team USA, the matchups are not expected to be easy.

The first game will be played at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. If the USA succeeds in their battle against Japan, they will face the winner of Brazil and Canada in the Finals. Trinity Rodman has been sporting the USA jersey for quite a long time now. She even participated in the FIFA Women’s World Cup, which is the biggest stage of soccer. However, the SheBelieves Cup will not be an easy nut to crack. Let’s see if Trinity can lead Team USA to a major honor.
