Rodman vs Rodman is getting more dramatic. After Trinity Rodman poured out her grievances with her father on a podcast, Dennis Rodman gave his side of the story online. And his girlfriend chimed in too. It didn’t take long to spread all over the Internet. It’s viral status even came to Trinity’s attention. She had a response to his Instagram post. But if anyone was expecting a heartwarming father-daughter reconciliation, that’s not the case.

After the Instagram page, ‘Just Womens Sports’ re-shared Dennis Rodman’s post, it upset their followers. They didn’t want to see Rodzilla’s apology over updates on their favorite female athletes. Neither did Trinity who reposted it to her Instagram Story and wrote a sarcastic, “Nice repost.”

The actual message to her father was in bigger letters in the bottom. “A joke. The response alone. And the attention. Wiping my hands with it I’m done. Thank you.”

It started with the 22-year-old daughter of Dennis Rodman’s three children appearing on Call Her Daddy podcast. “He’s not a dad,” she said. “Maybe by blood, but nothing else.” She goes on to say she and DJ were “generous” to filter their real feelings about their father publicly so far.”I think we never want to make him look bad, and that is at the cost of holding in a lot, and a lot of issues we’ve gone through and just like, trauma, per se.” And that’s changing right now.

Dennis Rodman – who is dad to Alexis, Trinity, and DJ – responded with an emotional video of all the pictures he has with Trinity and DJ. He wrote a length caption under it admitting his mistakes at first. But it turns into a rollercoaster from there.

Initially, Dennis Rodman opened with, “Sorry I wasn’t the Dad you wanted me to be but either way I still tried and I still Try and Never will Stop.” He goes on to address some of the things Trinity said in his post but claims that some unspecified people are manipulating her.

While Trinity accused him of being radio silent, he alleges that people are telling Trinity to turn down his calls. She said they met in person this year after months of no contact since their 2021 public moment. However, Rodman alleged he did come to her game but was turned away because “who I was with instead.” 

Rodman’s post earned his followers’ support. Even Matt Barnes and Dwight Howard showed their support (in heart emojis).

His girlfriend, Yella Yella also escalated the issue in the comments. She defended Dennis against some cynical comments but also directly suggested Trinity change her name.

Dennis is still leaving the door open for reconciliation. But it appears that Trinity has closed it.
