French basketball legend Tony Parker, who led the San Antonio Spurs to four NBA championship titles, is parting with his precious treasure. It’s one of his most lavish purchases including the $3.16 million car collection featuring Bentley and Ferrari. But, while those are for the road, he has something else to hit the waters; another giant ride replete with the most unimaginable, mind-boggling luxurious amenities.
Nearly two years after the first ride, the Frenchman has revealed his plans to find a new owner for his superyacht.

Named Infinity Nine, Parker has already listed his luxury ride for sale at $12,600,000. The basketball legend had reportedly dished out around $9 million from his $85 million net worth for his explorer yacht.
Out of his many hobbies, the former NBA player is also said to be fond of diving. This yacht houses all the amenities for the basketball star to relax and unwind after a hectic work schedule. After a 19-year NBA career during which he earned $170 million, he directed his focus into business. He also has a majority ownership stake in ASVEL Basket in France’s pro league, LNB Pro A.
Speaking of the yacht, the 115-footer is outfitted with a swim platform to offer seaside views. It has a gym, and a beach club on the upper deck, along with almost everything to keep its guests entertained. Infinite Nine has a Jacuzzi too for its guests. Featuring a four-deck configuration, the yacht has a beam of 25.6 feet and an incredible 333 GT volume.
Powered by Volvo Penta diesel engines, the yacht has bow thrusters for easier maneuvering and advanced electronics. It can reach a speed of 14 knots, cruise efficiently at 10.5 knots, and travel over 6,000 nautical miles. The Side-Power hydraulic stabilizers allow for a smooth ride.
This yacht also perhaps holds a special memory for the basketball legend. After all, this was also the first superyacht owned by the San Antonio Spurs legend.
Tony Parker’s nod to his career with Infinity Nine
It was still very early in his career when the 6× NBA All-Star dreamt of buying a yacht. “My dream is to go around the world and take our time to do it,” Parker once said about his dream of owning a yacht. So, naturally, when the French basketball star made the decision, he was much more involved than any other owner in the design process of the yacht.
He made several visits to the yard to ensure the detailing of the yacht. To start with, the inspiration behind the name must have already been highlighted to you. It seems to be a nod to the number 9, Parker wore during his playing days. Both San Antonio Spurs and the French Basketball Team retired his jersey no. 9.
Now, coming back to the yacht’s design, it is built with a steel hull and an aluminum superstructure. The Infinite Nine was crafted by the Turkey-based yacht company AvA Yachts. Established in 2005, AvA is a renowned yacht company behind the production of some of the best yachts.
Speaking to Boat International, Parker said, “AvA wanted to compete against the big shipyards. That’s the way I felt, when I was in France and I came to the US, so I recognized myself in that and I wanted to give them a chance.”

The Infinite Nine is the second of AvA’s Kando line of contemporary explorer yachts. After the yacht was made, it was launched for the first time in Antalya on Friday, August 5, 2022. “Infinity Nine is testimony to the outstanding skills of all the workers we have here in Antalya and a truly superb example of AvA Yachts’ exciting Kando series of contemporary explorer yachts,” AvA’s chairman and founder Atilla Küçükdiker expressed about Parker’s first purchase.

This one houses six cabins. Two of these are full-beam master suites while one sprawls across 312 square feet and has one private balcony. Parker’s water ride can accommodate 12 guests and 7 crew members. It has an expansive 484-square-foot salon, and a water-toy garage to soak away any residual stress.
Outfitted with such facilities, luxury yachts, and mansions aren’t surprising additions to any sports athlete’s collection. Just like NBA legend Michael Jordan spent a cool $80 million to buy his superyacht Joy, while former boxer Floyd Mayweather spent $200 million on his superyacht. But only the rarest, like this one, come with such a unique and sleek design. Currently docked in Monaco, the yacht awaits its new owner.
