Termed as “recreational poker player” by Poker News, Tony Parker is all set to go big. It’s been over five years since Parker hung up his basketball sneakers, but his knack for achieving success still hasn’t slowed down. With a net worth of $85 million already, Parker is still out there ready to let his luck and skill work their magic in poker’s biggest arena.

If you thought the poker world peaked this summer with the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event in Las Vegas, think again. The WSOP Paradise Super Main Event is upping the ante even more with the largest guaranteed prize pool in history. Bought by GGPoker for $500 million in October, the WSOP has raised the stakes to $50 million, with a $25,000 entry fee that’s sure to draw in poker elites from all over. And guess what? Tony Parker is confirmed to be in the mix.

He broke the news himself on Instagram, sharing his excitement with fans.“Happy to be heading back to WSOP Paradise and playing the $50M GTD Super Main Event! the biggest guarantee in live poker history… Looking for my first trophy in a new game,” read the caption to TP’s IG post.

For the uninformed, the WSOP Paradise is a winter series being held at the Atlantis Paradise Island in The Bahamas for the second consecutive year. And Parker isn’t exactly a rookie here, having already competed in both the WSOP in Las Vegas and last year’s Paradise series.

The excitement kicks off December 6 with the $2,500 Mini Main Event. But the real thrill begins December 12, when the No-Limit Hold ‘em Super Main Event takes center stage. This could be the second major financial win for Parker if he can also manage to seal the deal on his superyacht.

The set price makes sense as this isn’t just any yacht but a floating paradise. Imagine relaxing in its Jacuzzi, working out in its gym, or soaking up seaside views from the upper deck’s beach club. Designed for both leisure and adventure, it even has a swim platform, ideal for Parker’s love of diving. It also has a sleek four-deck design and an impressive 333 GT volume, that undoubtedly will make people consider the purchase.

In case this sale goes through, it’s bound to be a slam dunk for the basketball icon turned savvy businessman. Bur, the real cherry on the cake would still be his win at the WSOP Super Main Event, right?
