During his 29th appearance at the ACC Golf Championship, Charles Barkley left his opponents on notice with some clean swings that went viral on social media. This is the third successful round for Barkley in this four-day tournament. However, this has not been the case usually. On his previous appearances in ACC, the Philadelphia 76ers legend often got mocked for his unaesthetic golf swing. Anyhow, the fans cannot do that anymore because Barkley has redeemed himself by making a huge change in just a year. In fact, the fans are in awe of the 61-year-old’s latest form. Let’s see how Barkley changed his swing in a short span.
Barkley finished with positive points yesterday, which is the first time for him in the ACC. Reports have revealed that this is Barkley’s best performance in this tournament so far. After a promising display on Day 2, Barkley shared, “I had a great time. It’s the best I’ve ever probably played anywhere, probably…I was really confident. I played great today, and I’m really looking forward to the next couple days.”
The positive reports continued on Day 3 as well. Barkley is tied for the 51st rank and is followed by stars like Travis Kelce, Vince Carter, Chandler Parsons, etc. The Chuckster has a total of 3 points through two rounds. He scored 3 points in round 1 and 0 points in round 2.

“This is seriously inspiring. His golf swing looked very questionable the last time I seen it,” wrote a fan under the above post, appreciating Barkley for bringing a change this year. As per reports, Barkley hired Stan Utley, who is a 62-year-old golf instructor, to help him improve his swing.
Another fan wrote, “SMOOOOTH. I love me some new golf Chuck!” Clearly, Barkley made the right move by hiring Utley. This improvement from the Sixers icon in just one off-season shows how much he loves the game.
In his previous appearances, Barkley used to have an odd form on his golf swing. It was not smooth, rather there was a one-second pause in the middle, which the fans used to mock about. “No more awkward pause at the top. He’s been working on that swing,“ commented a fan, after Barkly redeemed himself.
If you are wondering how bad Barkley’s form was before, here is another comment from a fan who detailed it. “Whoever the coach was that successfully fixed Chuck’s swing deserves a spot in the World Golf Hall of Fame. That mental hiccup he dealt with for years looked like it was never going to go away. Props to Chuck for grinding towards fixing it“ said a user.
Even though Barkley had a poor form before, that did not stop him from placing bets on himself. Looks like all the lost bets have finally got an answer. A fan wrote, “Chuck tired of losing money…He is out to get some of the money back.” Let’s see if Barkley can get all his lost money this time.
