Players like Draymond Green play with a fire in them. They have a different intensity and often show their emotions in their plays, which can sometimes land them in trouble. After Draymond Green’s recent ejection in a match, he is one step closer to breaking a record that has stood still for the past 13 years.
Detroit Pistons legend Rasheed Wallace used to play like Green. During his time, Wallace has achieved numerous records to his name. But one that he is forever remembered for is the record for most ejections in NBA history. With Draymond Green continuing down his path, the 2004 NBA champion wishes that Green would eventually surpass him and take his spot.

In a recent episode of the Gil’s Arenas podcast, Rasheed Wallace was the special guest. During their conversation, Wallace was let know by the hosts that Green was just 10 ejections away from tying him.
As soon as he heard it, Wallace started celebrating with excitement. He was waiting for someone to finally take that title off of him, and he believes that the Warriors star is someone who has the potential to do so. Wallace retired from the NBA in 2010. Although it has been 13 years since then, no one has ever come close to Wallace in terms of career ejections. With Green getting closer day by day, Wallace shared his hopes.
He said, “We ain’t even at the all-star game yet. It’s gonna happen… Here is the crazy thing. I don’t wish it on my young fella, but I’m just tired of (people) coming up to me and being like, Oh, you got the record for this.“
Wallace has been waiting years for someone to take his place, and he finally has a potential candidate. With Green showing no intention of changing how he plays, it is not out of the realm of possibility.

Back in the day, a player could get as many technical fouls as they wanted throughout a season. Rasheed Wallace had a historic season with 41 technical fouls in 80 games in 2006. This made the NBA implement a new system where once a player reaches 16 technical fouls, they will be suspended a game without pay for every additional 2 technical fouls that they receive.
