Dwyane Wade was recently left speechless on his own podcast show. For the latest episode of ‘The Why,’ Wade welcomed a 2x alpine skiing world champion onto his podcast. While the champion boasts 3 NBA championship rings and titles in his career, he was surprised to hear his guest’s list of accomplishments. A short teaser clip of their conversation was shared on Instagram where they delved into their respective victories and challenges. The full episode with Lindsey Vonn will drop this Wednesday.
The revelation that left D-Wade visibly shaken came when he asked about Vonn’s triumphs. The 39-year-old candidly dropped the facts that she had notched an incredible “82 World Cup wins and 20 titles.” The Miami Heat legend asked the athlete to repeat as he was shocked to hear the numbers. She has four women’s World Cup overall championships. Vonn is also the first woman to achieve a feat of 82 World Cup race wins. She has 20 major titles and a gold medal in 2009.
