There were a lot of ideas that the fans suggested for Kobe Bryant‘s statue. His famous jersey bite, the one where he rests his head on a basketball, the iconic fadeaway, him holding the championship with the famous Lakers jacket, etc. Apart from this, the fans were also confused if the statue should have jersey number ‘8’ or ’24’ on it. There need not be any more worries, as Vanessa Bryant has announced three separate statues to celebrate the Los Angeles Lakers legend.

First of all, Vanessa must be appreciated for thinking this from the fans’ perspective. This is the first time in NBA history that a basketball legend will get multiple statues, that too in the same arena. Vanessa shared,He will have three statues in front of the arena, also known as ‘The House That Kobe Built’. One wearing the number ‘8’, one with beautiful daughter Gianna, and one wearing the number ’24’.”

Vanessa also gave a shoutout to Julie Amrany, who helped her capture the fitting details for the statue. Most importantly, Vanessa also informed the fans that this was Bryant’s desire, so she had to make sure his dream was fulfilled.

The second statue would be of Bryant along with his daughter Gianna. There are a lot of ideas that the fans have suggested. One with Gigi and Bryant sitting courtside, another with the Black Mamba holding his late daughter in his hands, and more. This would be an emotional tribute, but fans are more excited about the statue with him wearing the number ’24’.
