Threatening to Wipe the Floor With Bucks Veteran, Shaquille O’Neal’s Ex-Wife Shaunie Rises Up to the Challenge

Shaunie Henderson’s network is nothing to be scoffed at. The media mogul and reality star has some famous friends who often pop up on her social media. Her fans live for such interactions, whether it’s with her friends or with her kids. One such interaction under her recent Instagram post is a quick reminder that Shaquille O’Neal‘s ex-wife is a former athlete herself. The one who brought out the Basketball Wives star’s competitive side happens to be an NBA veteran himself.

It’s a very busy time for Shaunie. Her youngest is preparing to leave the nest and she’s making the most of their time together by accompanying her daughter through the milestone. Nonetheless, she managed to squeeze in some personal time to flex on Instagram.

Shaquille O’Neal’s ex-wife has a warning for an NBA veteran

Between her multi-city hopping spree, Shaunie Henderson took the time to wind down with a drive. She shared a clip of herself driving the Polaris Slingshot on a clear road under the sunny sky. It contained the quote, “This is your absolute last time in this situation! You’ve learned, now LEVEL UP!”

She urged her 1.8 million Instagram followers to, “TYPE: LEVEL UP IF YOU AGREE ‼️” Her fans complied and commented different versions of leveling up in their lives. Some thanked her for the mood booster to make her day. Someone else missed the memo.

Brandon Jennings challenged Shaunie by commenting, “Can you guard me though?”

 If that name is familiar, Jennings was a point guard who played professional basketball from 2008 to 2018. He played 9 seasons in the NBA, notably with the Milwaukee Bucks and Detroit Pistons. He may have been Mr. Basketball USA in 2008, but Shaunie is not small fry either. She replied with a sassy, “you already know! And out dance you!”

Jenning is lucky that Shaunie is occupied with other things right now. There’s little known about her before the marriage and divorce from Shaquille O’Neal. However, she and her kids have often spoken about her past as a student-athlete, dominating the basketball court herself.

Shaunie is back on the college circuit

Shaquille O’Neal and Shaunie Henderson’s youngest child, Me’Arah O’Neal is due to pick a college soon.

An outstanding athlete, the 17-year-old showcases both her parents’ basketball prowess on the court. She’s on college tours and her mom is tagging along. Shaunie was eager to share updates about going back to Florida where her daughter had tryouts with the Gators.

Me’Arah is fielding offers from multiple college programs, including LSU, Shaq’s alma mater which her older sister, Amirah O’Neal is currently attending. Amidst the rumors, the 6’4 hooper recently donned some Gators garb. Though, she clarified she’s “not committing”.

Shaunie is accompanying her daughter to New York next for the Nike Basketball Festival.

If Shaunie wished, she could run circles around Brandon Jennings. We’d not mind if they went one-on-one on the court anytime soon.
