Being a celebrity kid and growing up in the spotlight can be a surreal experience. But the sheer glut of fame itself brings difficulties. Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade?s son, Zaire Wade, is also no stranger to such criticism by fans. He has often talked about the strain he felt as a result of people’s expectations of him. But as time has passed, he has transformed that pressure into something that can ignite his spirit. Recently, he left the fans awestruck with his outfit. So much so that even Shaquille O’Neal‘s son took to Instagram to encourage his friend.
Notably, Zaire is the eldest son of the 3x NBA champion and his ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches. And the 21-year-old has been making a name for himself in the basketball community.

From the Salt Lake City Stars to the Cape Town Tigers, the 21-year-old baller has come a long way. With his fine skills, he has managed to pull off some extraordinary performances on the court. Not only has Zaire proved the nepotism allegations against him to be false, but also conquered basketball fans with his easygoing personality.
The young basketball star recently took to Instagram to share his funky outfit. The graphics on the shirt enchanted both fans and onlookers alike. Wade’s shirt sported a picture of young Dwyane – and one personality who was left impressed by the outfit is Wade’s long-time friend, Shaqir O’Neal. Shaqir is the son of Dwyane Wade’s Miami Heat ex-teammate and fellow NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal.

The 20-year-old even shared the post on his Instagram story to encourage his friend. The two childhood friends have shared the court with and against each other many times already.
Being the son of basketball icons can come with its difficulties though, and D-Wade opened up about his son’s struggles recently.
Dwyane Wade sympathized with his son
During his appearance on the podcast Club Shay Shay, we hear Wade talk about his son’s unique experience filled with expectations and judgments. He shared the following words to support his son, “As I don?t know my son?s journey and I sympathize with [Zaire] and I go, lemme see what kind of hate he getting.”
However, Zaire has developed a very different and unique attitude towards the comments. In a conversation with ESPN, he said, “I just stopped trying [to please critics] after a while. I think that’s where growth comes in, maturing – I’ve just turned 21, so I’m just learning that I’m not going to be able to please [everybody] at the end of the day.”
