Is it possible not to post pictures when visiting MJ’s million-dollar venture? Absolutely not. Michael Jordan’s Grove XXIII has always captivated audiences, much like his other business ventures. But the Grove is quite different from the others. Interestingly, the $20 million hyper-luxurious golf club features unique “MJ-ness.”
Notably, the Grove comprises everything closely related to MJ’s basketball career. Throughout his illustrious career, Jordan is known for his jersey number 23, and that’s something Grove’s XXIII symbolizes. To catch a glimpse of this attractive yet luxurious golf club, Marcus Jordan decided to visit his Dad’s place to uplift his mood.

The CEO of Trophy Room took a couple of pictures while enjoying Dad’s Grove, which he then posted on his official Instagram account. Meanwhile, he also flaunted his dad’s collection of retros and a series of luxurious cars. In addition to this, he also uploaded some pictures of the logo Black Cat.

Within hours of posting, the story started making waves online, garnering the attention of the basketball world. But why?
MJ’s Black Cat a la Dwyane Wade
Interestingly, the audience, after coming across Marcus’ story, was compelled to draw comparisons between Puma and the Black Cat. However, this is not the first time the audience has misunderstood MJ’s Black Cat. This was pointed out by Dwyane Wade himself a couple of months ago.
In a recent episode of The Wine Down podcast, Dwyane Wade sat with the team to clear up confusion between Puma and the Black Cat. “See, the thing about Puma versus The Grove, the black cat logo is Puma is raised, black cat is sneaky down. So look at the logo, look at the black cat. The Puma is raised up. That’s the difference between Puma and the black cat,” said Wade.
He added, in ‘The Wine Down’ podcast, “And I’m not even getting paid. Letting y’all know.” But, as everything at Grove is related to Jordan’s career, what’s the story behind the Black Cat? Interestingly, the Black Cat is Michael himself. As the legend was considered to be keen and fierce, he was called Black Cat by his friends. And this is something that inspired him to add the Black Cat at the Grove. But now the question is: What is Marcus’ purpose of visiting Dad’s $20 million venture? Although it seems like a generic visit, it could have had a purpose behind it. Stay tuned for more of the latest updates!
