NBA legend Michael Jordan changed the sneaker culture in the country and around the world with his partnership with Nike. The superstar was a pioneer in signature shoes and his iconic Air Jordans were an instant hit with the masses. Most sneakers from the Jordan line look fresh and are loved by the fans. While fans laud his sneakers, the same can’t be said about his attire. When people think about MJ’s style, his baggy suits spring to mind. However, he was more than that. He knew how to make a statement and a resurfaced clip is proof.

The six-time NBA champion does not make many media appearances nowadays. However, that wasn’t the case during his initial years in the league. Even though it wasn’t a lot, Jordan still appeared on TV shows and dazzled fans with his humor and aura.

Michael Jordan made a statement with his fit

Michael Jordan is iconic for his baggy fits. Recently, images of Jordan from 2000 wearing baggy jeans which were cuffed, and a baggy turtle neck shirt tucked in resurfaced. Safe to say that he did not impress most fans with his selection of clothes. However, the same can’t be said about his fit for Saturday Night Live 32 years ago.

A video clip of Jordan making an appearance on SNL resurfaced recently on social media. In the clip, he looked striking, wearing a green quilted bomber jacket. The video clip and an image were shared with the caption, “this quilted bomber that michael jordan wore for his SNL monologue will always be a leaguefits grail.”

The Chicago Bulls legend made an entrance to the upbeat music and the cheers from the crowd. Jordan thanked the fans for the warm welcome and stated that he was glad to be doing something different. He added that he was usually either playing basketball or doing commercials.
