Things are not looking too great for the Sun Devils in the new college football season. After suffering a brutal 29-0 loss to Fresno State yesterday, many ASU fans started diverting their attention from the match during the finishing stages.

As the ASU fans couldn?t be more interested in the thrashing that the Sun Devils were getting, 2016 NBA champion Richard Jefferson posted a hilarious Instagram story addressing the incident. In the story he posts, an ASU fan can be seen tuning into the Colorado-CSU match. The former NBA star says on his post, ?ASU fans do this during basketball season too.?.

Fans must understand that these college athletes are giving it their all for a shot at a better life. However, it?s a game and fans always want to see an exciting match. Despite the best efforts of coaches and athletes, there?s no exact formula to have an exciting match.

The 43-year-old seems to understand the plight of the college athletes as he draws parallels to his NBA career.

Richard Jefferson?s NBA career and what is he doing now?

Jefferson’s NBA career is definitely an interesting one. After getting drafted into the Brooklyn Nets in 2001, the former NBA star eventually was regarded as one of the most skilled players of his era, but definitely not the most exciting one.

Unfortunately, many believe that he did not get his due credit. From winning an NBA championship very late in his career to immediately becoming a successful entrepreneur post-retirement, there is a lot more to Richard Jefferson’s journey than what meets the eye.

The NBA champion is now an ESPN analyst and owns multiple successful business ventures. His estimated net worth as of today is a whopping $50 million.
