Steve Kerr on music being played in the Suns Arena
In recent NBA news, the Phoenix Suns faced the Golden State Warriors at their home court. The Suns fans were passionately supporting their home team and were doing everything in their power to motivate and support their NBA team. However, Steve Kerr believes that a line was crossed. In the post-game press conference after their 123-112 loss to the Phoenix Suns, Steve Kerr addresses the loud music that was being played in the Suns arena. Steve Kerr states, ?It’s like a South Beach club out there. What are we doing? I couldn’t hear anything out there. It’s just the whole game. It’s thumping techno club music. Can we just have a basketball game anymore? What the hell??

Many in the NBA community have mixed feelings about Steve Kerr?s take on music being played during the NBA games. Some say that it can get very difficult for teams to communicate with each other because of the loud music and some say that it is part of the home-court advantage of an NBA team.
An NBA veteran replies to the GSW coach with a cryptic message regarding the ?music in the arena? issue.
NBA Veteran?s Cryptic Message
Despite Steve Kerr?s frustrations about music in the Suns arena, one must acknowledge the fact that every NBA arena plays songs during the NBA game. Even in GSW?s Chase Center, loud music is played from time to time during the game. Via an ?X? post, NBA veteran Eddie A. Johnson gives a befitting reply to Steve Kerr. Johnson discloses in his ?X? post, ?At least we don?t have an echo noise machine like a certain Arena I know, I can not wait for my friend Steve to experience that place.?

The Golden State Warriors team has been one of the most dominant teams in the last 10 years. The Stephen Curry-led Warriors are looking to repeat history yet again in the new NBA season. However, Eddie A. Johnson’s comments were a direct attack on the GSW team, which plays music during games in their own arena too. Every other NBA team does it as well. Therefore, this should not be a reason for an NBA team to not perform at the end of the day.
