Founded in 2014, Wade Cellars is the venture that marked the Miami icon’s entry into the world of wine. Also, this venture gave him clearance into the culinary space and prioritized oenophiles. With the blessed hand of his community, Wade is all geared up for his pathway to success. ‘When We Gather’ – the latest project from the house of Wade Cellar has marked a new turning point in Wade’s business portfolio. It is not only a business project, but it is so much more, especially in terms of the food and wine experience altogether.
Lying at its core is Wade’s mission to make wine more accessible to as many people as possible.
The first tour of this project will be launched in the fall of 2023. The event is going to be center stage for distinguished chefs and sommeliers, showing the world of wine and food to the people through their lens.
But what is the thing that makes this project so special? Notably, there are various entities wandering in the same direction.
However, the one element that distinguishes this project is Dwyane Wade’s warm-heartedness tied closely to the organization’s social commitment.
As the caption put it, “Thank you so much for the hospitality and finding out what happens ?When We Gather?.”

Walking in unison – this is what Dwyane Wade’s mindset has been in every aspect of his life.
For this mission, the Miami Heat legend collaborated with Shenarri ‘Greens’ Freeman a plant-based Executive Chef at Cadence New York. The high-end restaurant serves “plant-based soul food” and has enjoyed tremendous success since opening in 2021. This is in big part due to its owner/founder.
Chef Freeman studied Health Supportive Culinary Arts, a plant-forward program at the Institute of Culinary Education. A researcher at heart and working in the field of plant-based food, Freeman has been a health and wellness advocate for the past 7 years. Featuring in different magazines like the New York Times, Forbes, Vogue, and many more, she was named in the 2022 James Beard Awards semi-finalists and the Emerging Chef category.
