Stephen A. Smith’s Two Cents on Who Is Worse Between Jada Pinkett Smith and Larsa Pippen

Not many get to boast they stumped Stephen A. Smith with a question, but Cam’Ron and Ma$e do. The Rappers and podcasters made the ESPN veteran make some hard choices in his stylish new studio. What could put Smith in a spot better than a query about two women he’s been vehemently critical of? His guests asked who was worse between Jada Pinkett Smith and Larsa Pippen. Smith’s response was surprising to some, but disagreeable to others.

Stephen A. Smith has often spoken about the controversies surrounding Jada Pinkett Smith and Larsa Pippen. But he’s softened his stance on only one of them.

Stephen A. Smith between a rock and hard place

Since he had Cam’Ron and Ma$e on his show, the rappers and podcasters got to ask him a few hard-hitting questions too. After Cam’Ron asked him who in the ESPN veteran’s opinion is worse between Will Smith’s wife and Joe Smith’s wife, Ma$e upped the ante. He asked Stephen who is worse between Jada Pinkett Smith and Larsa Pippen.

His guests and regular viewers would be aware of Smith’s feelings towards both subjects. He’s slammed Jada Pinkett Smith over her revelations regarding Will Smith in her recent memoir. He’s not been kind to Larsa either for adding fuel to the feud between Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan.

So between both of them, the sportscaster said, “I’m gonna still say it’s Jada Pinkett Smith.” For reference, he said she’s worse than Joe Smith’s wife too and his reasoning is the same in both questions. He reiterated that Jada “emasculated” her A-list actor husband in her memoir. In comparison, she makes Larsa look like a saint in his viewpoint.

“If Larsa was with MJ, that would be different. She with the son. Now it’s not great, it’s not a good look but that don’t have anything to do with Michael Jordan other than that’s his son.”

He admitted that Scottie Pippen is the only one in a tough spot as his ex-wife, who got half his retirement fund in the divorce, is with Jordan’s son. But he believes Will Smith is in a worse spot than Scottie and Joe Smith as Jada has ‘smeared’ the actor’s reputation.

Contrarily, he reiterated that Michael Jordan has nothing to do with Larsa’s relationship with Marcus. And he also said she has nothing to do with MJ and Scottie’s issues. That’s an abrupt change in tune Smith has shown.

Stephen A. Smith turned down the heat on LarCus

Previously, Smith was critical of Larsa for dating Marcus. He said she crossed a line by dating Scottie’s ex-teammate’s son. After Larsa clarified she had not been around the Jordan family during the Bulls dynasty, he questioned why she hadn’t dropped the Pippen from her name.

Recently, with marriage rumors following Marcus and Larsa, Smith has been more approving. He slammed haters with a reminder that Marcus is a “grown adult” – something Mike apparently told his son too – and has the autonomy to date who he wants.

We don’t see him softening his stance on Jada Pinkett Smith any time soon. But his YouTube viewers had a lot to say about his opinion. Do you agree with Smith’s take?
