Jamal Crawford, watch out! There’s a new challenger in town, and he’s gunning for your legacy. The real threat? A YouTuber. That’s right. Kai Cenat, the internet’s favorite prankster, just made his grand debut in the 2025 NBA Celebrity All-Star Game, where he dominated (okay, he scored four points, but let’s not get lost in the details). Now, he’s boldly comparing himself to Allen Iverson and Jamal Crawford. The audacity! NBA analyst Stephen A. Smith took this unbelievable take way too seriously, but Jamal Crawford just laughed it off. So what was it that fumed Stephen so much?

Kai Cenat just shook the entire ESPN studio with his latest take, because apparently, the streets are saying he’s on the same level as Allen Iverson and Jamal Crawford. Yup, you read that right. While appearing on First Take, Kai casually dropped the bomb that fans (not him, of course) were putting his name alongside these NBA greats. Hosts Elle Duncan, Molly Qerim, and Stephen A. Smith were left absolutely stunned. You could practically hear the collective record scratch in the studio.

On top of it, Kai tried to defend himself by saying, “I said they saying it, the people are saying it.”  Visibly offended on behalf of Jamal Crawford, Stephen A. went off: “I don’t know how to talk to about this. You brought Jamal Crawford…I mean Jamal Crawford was a bad brother. By the way, he is a pretty good NBA analyst too. Give him some love.” Man! He was furious at Kai.

And guess what? Jamal Crawford saw it all. Clearly touched by Stephen A.’s passionate defense, he wasted no time sharing the clip on Instagram, captioning it, “Preciate the love, legend! @stephenasmith🔥🔥🙏🏾”

At this point, someone needs to check if Kai is trolling or if he actually believes he’s about to cross up legends next season.

Kai Cenat and his 2025 NBA All-Star celebrity appearance

The 2025 NBA Celebrity All-Star Game was packed with stars, but Kai Cenat was on a whole other level. The internet sensation helped Team Bonds secure a 66-55 win over Team Rice. With 15.8 million Twitch followers and nearly 7 million YouTube subscribers, Kai is now an All-Star winner too.

From Drake to Nicki Minaj to Kevin Hart, big names have joined his viral streams. But this time, it was Kai himself in the spotlight. Even before tip-off, he and fellow YouTuber Druski kicked off their trash-talk war, keeping the energy hilariously intense all game long. In the end, Kai got the W and the bragging rights. At least Druski can say he made the stat sheet… barely.

The game may have ended, but the internet definitely isn’t letting this rivalry go anytime soon. Fans flooded social media with memes, replaying every moment of Kai’s epic victory dance. Whether he’s streaming or hooping, one thing’s for sure, Kai Cenat knows how to put on a show! What’s you take on this?
